UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, ALL NAMI CLACKAMAS SUPPORT GROUPS ARE ONLINE
NAMI affiliates around the state are conducting their peer‐led adult support groups online using the video conferencing platform Zoom. These groups are accessible from both mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones & from desktop and laptop computers. Joining with audio only is possible from any phone.
To register for a group meeting, download either the Zoom app (on mobile devices) or desktop client (on computers) and either click the registration link of the meeting you are interested in below or contact the local NAMI affiliate offering the group for instructions. Once you register you will receive an email with instructions for joining the meeting.

CONNECTION PEER SUPPORT GROUP
NAMI Connection Support Group is a free 90-minute recovery support group for all persons living with a mental health condition regardless of their diagnosis. Support groups are facilitated by trained volunteers with lived experience.

WOMEN (18+) ONLY PEER SUPPORT GROUP
WOMEN (18+) ONLY PEER SUPPORT GROUP: An IN-PERSON bi-weekly peer-led recovery support group for people who identify as women and are living with mental health condition. This is a place where women learn from one another's experiences, share coping strategies, and offer mutual encouragement.
Starting April 2nd IN PERSON on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 5-630PM in Milwaukie.

COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS
Compassionate Friends is a peer-led support group that exists to provide friendship, understanding, and hope to those going through the natural grieving process.
NOTE: The Compassionate Friends Group is not an official NAMI program but has been vetted and is hosted by NAMI Clackamas.

NAMI Family Support Group is a free 90-minute support group open to anyone who has, or cares about someone with a mental health condition. Support groups are facilitated by trained volunteers with lived experience.

QUEER CONNECTION SUPPORT GROUP
This peer support space is for adults 18 and older, where queer individuals come together to heal, grow, and thrive. The group focuses on mental health, celebrating resilience, validating experiences, and fostering a community built on connection, mutual understanding, and collective strength.
THE QUEER CONNECTION SUPPORT GROUP WILL RESUME IN MAY!

FAMILY BOOK CLUB
NAMI Clackamas is excited to announce an upcoming monthly book club on the 3rd Tuesday of the month starting May 20th in Milwaukie!
The book is titled: Loving Someone with a Mental Illness or History of Trauma.

SUICIDE BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT
Suicide Bereavement Support, Inc., is a
self-help organization served by trained volunteers offering understanding, support, friendship and education to those bereaved and impacted by the suicide death of a child, spouse, partner, parent, sibling, family member, friend, client or co-worker.
NOTE: The Suicide Bereavement Group is not an official NAMI program but has been vetted and is hosted by NAMI Clackamas.
